93-95 tbi truck differences

I am looking at a Weiand blower right now for my car and they make a kit for the 93-95 tbi trucks which they say is a close bolt on. What is different about them from our cars? Are the serpentine setups the same, the fuel lines, throttle body, etc???

The TBI unit found on the 350 and 305 trucks are identical to ours as far as locations are concered. That means the fuel lines along with every other sensor come out of the TBI in the same manor. The serpentine set-ups are slightly different. My dad and I just sold our 305 TBI truck and I only spent limited time under the hood so I am trying to remember. I did notice that it had no sort of AIR or AIR pump but did have the typical truck mechanical fan and shroud that stuck up pretty high. There is basically just a tremendous amount of room under the hood of any truck and I think that is where the difference lies. That and the extended hood clearance that we can only dream of prevent using that blower without a little coaxing and relocating.

I have a Harwood 3 inch cowl hood so I don't think hood clearance will be an issue. Are the fuel pressures the same? I seem to remember the later model tbi trucks ran on higher fuel pressure. Anyone have any pics of the weiand tbi setup? I'm thinking of running an fmu for the extra needed fuel and I will run a small shot of nitrous for an intercooling effect.

Only the 454 trucks ran a higher pressure. The 305 and 350 trucks ran about the same. In fact the 305 trucks had the same injectors as us IIRC. The truck we had had the green and white injectors.

There would be no interfearance problems with the stock f body serpentine setup though correct? Also, why does WEIAND say that the kit for the tbi trucks is for auto transmissions only? In the 93-95 applications, does the ecm controll the transmission as well?

I have a little more info and I am really serious about getting the blower now. It would be a sweet setup to run that with about 6 psi of boost and a small shot of nitrous at the track. I believe I could pull some pretty insane times with that combo. I have a couple pics of the kit, but don't know how to post them.

I believe that's the 94 and 95's. That was to thwart a vapor lock problem.
