190 or 255 0r 255hp

I have a fairly stock 350 tbi right now, only bolt-ons. I am going to add a NOS system (probably 100 shot) to it soon and I was going to replace the fuel pump when I put the nitrous on. I have read and searched a bunch and I can't quite find the answers.

I am thinking that I might go to some kind of multi-port injection in the future so I am thinking of using a higher pressure pump.

Is there any downside to running a higher flow and presure pump other than the cost? If it is just the cost than I would rather go ahead and put in the 255 high pressure pump and be done with it or are there other disadvantages?

Thanks

The only possible issue will be if the regulator cant keep up with the fuel flow. If that happens, the fuel pressure will rise up much higher then the stock pressure untill it comes to equilibrium.
