14101083 casting number came up with this: Gen.I, also used on crate motors, 285 or 300 hp, 64cc chambers, 72' center manifold bolt angles

Well I dont know what brand those performance ones are so I dont know. But those other ones are L98's I believe from a TPI engine. I don't know if they're worth 160 bucks though, I guess if they're in perfect shape or rebuilt or something then they are. You should be able to find a set for more like 100 though.

3973487 Are the new heads. NOT the exact casting number but almost the same. The new ones are 350 TPI heads and would work with my intake. As for the used ones, I would rather go with a set of used heads that were proven good such as the 30,000 miles ones rather than get some at a junk yard that are scrap. Hell, I might be able to find me a good 350 intake that would boost my HP up a few. As long as I could get one before next saturday I'd be set!

I paid for the heads and they should be here by friday. My next issue is a intake. I was thinking a polished intake sqaure bore with a tbi adapter plate or I could go with a 2" bore TBI intake and a 1" spacer. I am going to put on a open air element but I am wondering if that is getting too high as far as hood clearance.
