air cleaner

i have a 1988 formula with a transplanted 350 , originally a 305 .its still running the stock tbi.my question is , what air cleaner would work the best for my car (open element ...etc)....drop base ?non drop ?what brand?and part number if u have them ...thanks in advance

get a non drop base open element with a reuseable filter like K&N, Kool Blue, etc.

Welcome aboard man. vjo hit it right on the head for ya. There are plenty of links about open elements in the stickies above. Take some time to read them and find out as much as you can. The concept of the open element is a fairly easy one to grasp (and install ) and you should have your answers in nothing short of a few minutes of reading. Since I am so confident that you will find your answer I will shut this one down for redundency sake. Good luck and happy modding
