i picked up a tbi which i was told it came from a 350. im wanting to do the ultimate tbi mods and also obtained a spacer and pod spacer. my question is are the 305 and 350 tbi the same? can i switch the pods from my 305 onto the 350 base after i modify it and clean it up?

 

From what I understand, the 305 and 350 TBI units are exactly the same, except for that the 350 TBI units came with bigger injectors (not proportionally bigger, just better flowing). So, yes, you can swap most of the parts between the 2 with no problems.

The only problem I can think of is that some of the 350 TBI trucks had two studs for the stock air cleaner assembly. I'm not sure if you can remove or modify them or not, but I bet you can.

Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than me while confirm this.
