Question about Holley TBI
Question about Holley TBI
I might be able to get the 670 cfm Holley TBI. However, the part # is 502-7...which is for the 4.3 V6 - the S10, etc. I know the injectors are rated at 50 pph. I was thinking this would be enough since my engine is almost stock. If not, I could just increase the fuel pressure. I think the 502-5 unit (57 pph) would be alittle over kill.
My setup right now is: 1.6 roller-tipped rocker arms, TBI mods, K&N open element, Hypertech chip, smog pump deleted, headers, gutted cat, & a cat-back. Will this work?
Also, I plan on getting the Holley intake manifold (300-66) or a carb manifold w/ an adaptor plate.
Lastly, what are the stock fuel injectors rated at (pph)?

I noticed on ebay there were plenty of Holley TBI's on there for a 350 (Part # 502-6). Would I be better off getting the 5.7 unit and keeping the fuel pressure low? I am just looking to get one cheap and I haven't been able to find any for a 305. Thanks in advance.

Either one would probably work, but with the larger 60 something pph injectors your motor will be a bit on the rich side. If you do get one of the holleys, make sure it doesnt have the older mopar injectors. You can tell by their distinctive hemispherical caps that they have.
