Step-by-Step Upgrades 350 TBI
Step-by-Step Upgrades 350 TBI
There is here very good information about upgrades in TBI Motor; Ultimate TBI, Intake, heads, exhauts, etc. But Which is first step to design a upgrade to get for example 350HP+ in 350TBI(or 305, 327, etc).
I donīt know if I explain me well. I would like see a list in order first to last upgrade:
1.-Cleaner Air
2.-Intake
3.-TBI
4.-Headers, etc for example.
How I begin design 350HP in 350TBI, that is question
Sorry my English

Yep, the "New to TBI" sticky pretty much outlines all the modifications that you can do from easiest to hardest, but I'm bored, so:
1. Open element air cleaner
2. Ultimate TBI mods
3. Adjustable fuel pressure regulator
4. Injector spacer (and TB spacer if you really want one)
5. Intake manifold
6. Full exhaust (shorty headers, y-pipe, hi-flow cat, 3" cat-back)
7. Camshaft
8. Cylinder heads
I've tried to list the modifications in the order of how easy they are, and ones that are not going to require a new PROM, but please keep in mind that by #6, you will definetely need a new PROM burnt, the stock PROM just can't handle that many upgrades.
Hope this helps.

I questioned in other thread and almost everybody recomend me Long Tube. ...ahh. My TBI is installed a 4x4 and mainly I need mid-range Torque(also high-End RPM)
Thanks

Since you have a truck, than longtubes will be fine. I just assumed that you had a 3rd gen, and the ground clearance on these cars with longtubes is not very good. Sorry about that!
I have been thinking about how begin to design upgrade.
I will do soon cleaner air,Intake projection Holley, headers, etc. but, if I want to get 350HP+ my doubt is, I design first head and then cam and then TB(inj) or first compression, heads, cam, etc
someone may help me or there is a thread with this information?
I will show my advances from Chile
