Bolt-on Vortec heads in TBI Blocks?

That is my question, or I need modify something in block(TBI 1990) as holes, bolt, gasket, ..?

Here in CHile is more easy to get Vortec heads that L98, vette, etc.

I did a search but don´t found a good link

Thaks

They will bolt right up to your TBI engine. You will need a vortec intake to accomodate for the unique bolt pattern of those heads. GM makes a vortec intake for TBI and many companies make vortec carb intakes that can be used with an adapter plate.

You can reuse your stock pushrods on the Vortecs if they're still straight. A TBI block is no different than any other V8 block.

You will need another intake. The vortecs have a different bolt pattern and the intake ports are taller (they wouldnt be vortecs if they werent).

I know that now. I will get a intake from USA via summit catolgue.

Today I and friends probe us a V6 Vortec Engine with custom intake and carburator 2 barrel Holley. Very niceˇ

But we need change or put other pump, in high RPM no working fine. But in general we are happy´s.

The Engine went put in Body Dayhatsu Rocky 4x4.

Thanks
