I'm the last person to be tellin you how to troubleshoot your car but have you checked that the injectors are shooting gas when you crank it? Sounds elementary and I am sure you checked it but sounds like there is a problem getting spark and gas to coordinate.

Given the TBI unit is shooting gas, have you checked the spark system? Maybe your coil is wasted or there is a problem with the distributor.

I have no idea how to check those spark systems but that is where I would start.

After i started considering the injectors I realized how maybe i should stop blaming the fuel pump and start looking towards the front of the car...

I got the car to start after dumping gas into the TB which leaves me to believe that there is spark, but a problem getting fuel to the spark. Distributor and Coil could still be culprits though, anyone know of some tests to run to be sure?

If the pump doesnt get fuel to the injectors...then the injectors wont fire, so is there a quick test to make sure they are working properly?

The car is currently resting in the shop so i can only drive out there and do so little at a time, rather frustrating. Looking for any help thanks
