soup bowl

well i got all my stuff done for today! i got the power charger on and i had to use my other drop base filter pan so it would clear! the flat base pan would not fit. i think it made a well worth it diffrence.
plus i got my centerforce dual friction clutch installed !! what a pita!! well that was my first clutch replacement! it took about 3 hours to get everything off the car and about 6 to put it back on!
mostly because after bolting the flywheel on and getting ready to bolt the clutch on i saw 4 little screws and thought craaaapppp
they were the screws that go on the block behind the flywheel around the top of the crank shaft.
all in all i like it! it grabs right away! if i let my foot off the clutch about 1/4 an inch its got it! but unfortuanitly my car is running like crap a little casue i unplugged the battery. it should smooth out soon! i keep having problems with the iac though i have replaced it 3 times and i now assume its not the iac that is causing it but when i slow down and push the clutch in the rpm's go up to 2,000 and stay there for a bit. the only way i can correct this is by bypassing the iac. put the scan tool in and let the pintle come all the way out then unplug the iac connector and then remove the little clip from the aldl and wala... but i think this will affect my driving in the winter right?
any other ideas on how to fix my iac?

Do you slow down or idle along with the clutch still engaged? If so, the ecm may be trying to add in extra iac counts in an attempt to maintain the desired idle speed. When you do release the clutch, the ecm cant pull all the IAC counts right away. The pustang I used for a bit when the camaro was KIA did the same thing when I let the clutch out without pressing the gas. Rpms would flare if I released the clutch.

Has that Powercharger / Soupbowl been proven to work outside of magazine articles?
