Need help finding part. PLEASE!!

Ok, I have a ZZ4 intake with a 1" spacer/adapter with everything on the TBI sets up higher and more forward than stock so I need an adapter kit for the WOT and the throttle cable. I was told by someone who did this swap there is a kit out there but he never gave me a part number. I need to know where to find it and if there are more than one that would do the job where I could find them all. I am currently in Iraq so its kinda hard for me to just go out and find it or fabricate one. Its at the shop now and he cant find the part.....surprised...I think not. Anyway, all I need to finish the job is that adapter and possiblly the egr valve that goes into the ZZ4 intake. He could not find that either. Those are the only two things holding me back from selling it at this point. I am trying to get a 360HP (at the rear wheels) vette. So I need the $$. If any of you are interested in it let me know I will give you all the details. But as this forum is directed at TPI I am going to stay on track otherwise. Please help me out!! Once this is done all the car needs is a chip burn and there is just no way I am going to put my wife through that. Any how, any help would be uh helpful. THX!!

I used a lokar high tech 36" throttle cable. I used the cable and adjsutable linkage by itself and I reused the stock cable housing. The housing with the lokar cable works but doesnt fit as well. Basically I ran the lokar cable up just as the stock cable would. I then drilled out the stock mount on the throttle shaft and put the ball mount for the lokar cable in its place. Hooked it all up and it worked great.

Lokar also makes adjustable tv cables. Call Summit and see if you can find out which are fully adjustable and will work with your app. Also try to get cables that are longer then you need so you can have some slack to work with.

As for the EGR, I dont have any PNs. Try posting on the tech/general engine and see if anyone knows of some valves that will work. I imagine a pre-87 egr valve for the carb cars may work.

I will check it out. You wont believe this but the one mechanic at the shop wants to buy my camaro as is! He wants to restore it which is a dream come true for me. I would love to see the camaro restored to its prime or better than. Hopefully the deal will work itself through cause if it does I will only be 100 bucks shy of getting my vette. In other words, on the 15th of this month if I sell the camaro I will have enough money for the $8,500 I need to get the vette! YES! Now the only problem is making it home in one piece. Thanks for the help!

summit also sells adjustable throttle cable bracket as does edelbrock. if it does not offer enough adjustment you could weld that adj bracket rather than use nut/bolt in kit. if i recall Lokar was a bit pricey!!

I bought the bracket as well, but never got to try it. On the edel, each of the three mounts can be slid forward and back.
