Well im not gonna ge to run my car the way it sits so tell me what you think.

I am getting ready to swap over to carb and add new intake cam and heads. Ive been dying to see what kind of times i can run in the quarter, but the track doesnt open till may so im not gonna be able to get a baseline time, so lets see what you guys think ill run, heres my mods, there also in my sig but im not sure if they've been updated.

Heddman 1 5/8 hedders, custom y-pipe, 3 inch catback exhaust w/flowmaster muffler. 14 x 3 open element breather, custom chip, 6 degree advanced timing, smog pump delete, 2800 stall convertor, high performance tranny, 3.42 posi rear.

Let me know what you think it will run.

Low 15's would be my guess. I would not waste your money on a custom chip unless the person burning it has your car in hand with the right burning equiptment. If you keep TBI you should look into chip work now to get a feel for it before you add your heads and cam. Your car will be worthless without it.

What you have right now should make for a fun ride down the strip

Low 15's is what i am thinking too. The chip was only 30 bucks so i went ahead and bought it, i advanced the timing and added the chip and it seemed to help it a little. I am going to go carb that way it will be easier to tune my new setup

try to datalog if you can. Sometimes those spark curves are too much and can cause some serious knock counts.
