cross fire injectors?

One of the injectors on my crossfire setup got stuck closed. Instead of spending $75 bucks for a new injector, I pulled one of a TBI truck for free. My research found that they were not the same size injectors. My question is would this make the car run to rich? It seems to be firing and running great. There is a very strong fuel, exhaust smell that the car is making. Could it also be the vapor canister up front is clogged or bad? Anyone have this problem with a CF or TBI? let me know

On the Crossfire Vettes, the injectors were 61 and 64 lb/hr (yes, two slightly different volumes), on top of an engine (L83) rated at 200-205 fwhp in 1982 & 1984. I don't know if they split the 305 Crossfire (LU5) engine's injectors the same way, but the LU5 was approx 160 fwhp so the injectors from any LO3 TBI should work fine (LO3 was rated at 170 fwhp).

If you installed an injector from a 350, then it's probably too large, especially if it came from a copcar Caprice or a LO5 TBI truck. The fwhp rating for these were in the 190 to 210 range, which would be MUCH more than your engine needs, bone stock. HTH.
