Muffler/Cat In/Out sizes
I need the inlet and outlet sizes of the stock 305 TBI muffler and cat. Do I order the same size or a little bigger?

The entire TBI exhaust is 2.25". I would hate to see you spend money on the same size. You won't gain much if not anything at all. You can buy a larger size and just weld on a reducer if need be.

I would ditch the stock exhaust system from the exhaust port back. Then add shorty headers (meant for a TPI car), Y-pipe, high flow cat, bigger pipes, and a good flowing muffler.

Actully the only thing that was planned was 14x3 open element with X stream flow top,Hooker aerochamber muffler and dynomax high flow cat.An entire exhaust from headers back is pretty pricey.
