Alright currently on my firebird 305 tbi i have msd ignition, exhaust headers back, timings advanced a bit, man i cant remeber everything, i have alot of add ons, ahh a chip... and i dont know what else i can do to the motor with out swaping it out and putting in a new one. And thats a bit out of the price range now. I was wondering what i can do. I was reading online somewhere of a newer intake on the tbi. Liek u can port and polish the intake to make it bigger and some other modification to add more horse power. I dont know what it was but that with a ram air i think is the only thing left i can do. can any one verify that this possible, and does anyone have any other ideas about what to do.

 

Cam, ported tpi heads, carb intake, lots of other big things taht can help out that wont put a huge hole in your pocket.

 

my local machine shop told me it would cost $600 to port some 081 heads and i was better off buying heads that were already good flowing just somthing to keep in mind

Well my main thing is i dont want to do any mods to the motor if i do i might as well look for a way to boare over the motor a bit i heard that there is a way to turn the 305 tbi to a 350 tbi what whould that add. I wish i had the website for the tbi intake modification the way u could port and polish the intake valves and put something else on to make it get more air to make it faster. thanks guys for responses
