EGR Solinoid
Hey I had a chip burned for my new engine that deleted the egr but have yet to pull it off. Does anybody know if there is a plate that is sold to block off the egr? Also is the egr solinoid the one with the vacuum lines coming from it right near the egr and can it just be taken out no problem?
THanks

There is probably a company that sells EGR block-off plates, but so far I've only seen them on E-Bay. Although, it really wouldn't be all that hard to fab up your own.
Anyway, yes, the EGR solenoid is pretty much right next to the EGR valve. It has 2 vacuum lines and one 2-wire connector attached to it. The solenoid is just held in with 1 bolt. Since EGR is deleted from the chip, you can just take it all out no problem.
