Crossfire switch to late model TBI ?

Has anyone sucessfully switched a crossfire camaro to a late model TBI setup? I'm thinking of trying it, and was wondering what parts from the crossfire system would be re-useable, such as fuel pump, wiring harness etc..

I know that I would need the late model intake, TBI and ecm, but what else...

I like the crossfire that is in my car, but I want to upgrade to a 350, and the lack of support with the crossfire has me thinking about lat model TBI's, as they are easy to find in the local junkyards...

Thanks

The usual swap is to a carburetor, not to another TBI-style system, but I see no reason it couldn't be done. It'll be a lot of little odds-n-ends kinda things in all likelyhood, not any major killers. Your CFI fuel system should work just fine as both systems ran at about the same fuel pressure. Distributor...... maybe, not sure if it's the same as a later model small cap divorced-coil HEI system or not. If it's a large cap computer controlled HEI then it won't work with the later model TBI computer.

Have you been to the CrossFire Injection Vault ?

Crossfire is not any harder to work with than a newer TBI system. I may have a aftermarket intake but the rest of the system is still a crossfire and it works just fine.
