my car stutters when warmed up
i ve got a 92 camaro rs with the lQ5 with the 350 injectors and i am told that it has the right chip but i dont think it does becuase when my car is cold if i gun it from a stop it will spin the tires up to thirty or so when it is hot it sutters until about 3000rpm then it takes off hard what makes it stutter? what should i do? i was thinking of getting an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and bumping it up a few psi becuase it only has 11psi and i have an open element and am going to be getting edelebrock headers soon

It sounds like you need a lot of chip work. If you can see if you can find out what chip was exactly put in. If the LO5 you swapped in was stock and they used a caprice LO5 chip then you should be good to go. However, if the engine has any mods at all or they used some random chip you will need to get into chip burning. The only way you will get your motor to run the way it should is with chip work. It isn't really all that hard but it takes some patience and some learning on your behalf. Consult the DIY PROM board as well as the above stickies that have links to get you started.
