estimated 1/4 time and hp/torque?
so i have this 91 RS 305 tbi 5-spd that i've been workin on forever. i've done a tone of stuff to it sarting from the back and workin my way forward, including all rear WS6 suspension (about to do the front), 3:23 posi rear out of the WS6 formula im taking the suspension from, an aluminum driveshaft (those are the only two things from the formula that would really help it out though i think. anyways, i'm about to put edelbrock ceramic coated headers w/ a 3" collecter at the y-pipe to the cat, gutted cat, full 3" Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust w/ the 80 series muffler w/ dual full 3" tailpipes. then im going to check into the 'free/ultimate tbi mods'. im probly gonna be running on 245 street tires, not sure of what brand im going to get yet. just wandering what kind of power u guys think i might be getting out of it (once i get it running straight, it has a funny throttle problem- chokes down before revving up if i hit the gas hard), and what kinda 1/4 times i should expect. im figurin on maybe...(assuming that what i read about stock power is correct- 165 hp 255 Torque) like...180-190 hp and maybe 270-280 torque? im also figurin on probly mid 15's-mid 16's or sumthin...i dont really know.
-as a side note, this is the first car i've really 'restored' since it was a piece of crap when i bought it (i knew they shape it was in, minus the part of about the motor being locked up, i jsut wanted a 5-spd v8 thirdgen with t-tops). anyways, if you guys want any info on what i've done to it so far, feal free to email me or somethin and i'd be happy to get u a list of what all ive done to it so far

for the choking problem, you might consider disconnecting the EGR and driving it around to see if that clears it up.

I'm not sure about your E.T. after those mods but my 88 firebird ran a best of 15.89 totally stock. With a 3.42 posi, 5 speed,170,000miles, stock 2 1/4 exhaust, manifolds and about 25,000 since previous owners atempt to tune it up.
