i have access to a blown 350 throttlebody(88 suburban) i was wondering if the throtle body unit and injectors will give me good noticable gains and if it will even fit up and hook up correctly. i also have access to the intake manifold if that will give me any thing at all. any one who knows what they are talking about please help me out.

 

I think that the intake is the same as on your 305. I think that the only difference between the tbi's is that the injectors are a larger size injector than on the 305. As for putting them on your car you will probably notice a decline in performance because of to much fuel from the injectors. I would just rebuild that 350 that you have access to and do the swap. It is well worth it

 

Yep putting those injectors in will give problems without chip burning. Read the sticky New to TBI and it will give you lots of answers you are looking for. OR... can try If that don't help then ask away. Helps repeating of alot of common questions and answers.
