89 TBI EGR Question

Does removing all your EGR, and smog stuff help put anywhere, or does leaving it on the car keep the car running the way it should, i took everything off an had TBIchips.com make me a chip without EGR, Is this the right thing to do besides burning my own chip, or is someone with the burning capabilities willing to work with me and burn me chips till i get it right (of course Ill pay you), let me know thanks!

If you had a chip burned then you're good to go. Better to have the EGR removed anyway.

EGR is actually a good thing. Besides visual emissions inspection reasons it does serve a valuable purpose. EGR helps reduce emissions, improves fuel economy and keeps combustion temps down. Sure it may be a little ugly, but its benifits surpass the negatives IMHO.
