at a certain throttle position the car sputters and shuts off. it feels like the injectors are not getting electricity
I have replaced the tps twice in 5 months, I am almost positive this is not the problem
if I bury the throttle or let off the problem goes away- ----
any other places to look or suggestions on what to do

Hmmm... Can you elaborate on the problem? Is it just one throttle position, or does it happen randomly when the throttle is open? Does it set the check engine light?

I have to agree that it is likely the fuel filter.

just one throttle position - around 1200 - 1500 rpm - through all gearsOriginally posted by dimented24x7

if I move it above or below it woks fine
there is no problem when its in park or neutral, only when in gear
one more thought - it doesn't do it all the time -
its been about 3 weeks since last time and before that it was 6 weeks
its been intermittent the 3 years I've owned the car
that's why I'm learning towards an electrical problem and not fuel.
But I will get the filter changed this week anyway
