More 305 TBI upgrades
Ok well a I am taking my whole drivetrain out this winter to get it rebuilt(trans, engine, rearend). I am not doing the rebuilding but a professional camaro guy is going to do the work. Although I am putting 3.73 in the 10 bolt rear end myself. Are these the gears I want? We are putting the LT1 cam in it with the springs, etc. Eeverthing is going to be gone through cleaned and done the right way the first time. So tell me what I should further do to improve my cars horsepower. I already have the Edelbrock intake and performance chip installed. Well it had that when I bought it. The tranny is going to be built with a shift kit. It is also going to be repainted. Its a Z03 edition 1992 Camaro ( red with black stripes) and the red alloy wheels. So can someone help me out on this?

also addFULL EXHAUST - stock exh. is horrible, ult. tbi mods, custom (not off the shelf-you get generic, minimal gains, trust me) tbi tuning by yourself or on a dyno, FUEL PUMP - once again stock one sucks
you can do a search on what other people have done with theirs to get ideas for yours
welcome aboard!

If you're taking the whole drivetrain out, you probably want to put in a 350. Pulling out a 305 and putting it back in is just too much work for too little of a gain IMO.

For the money you are going to spend doing the work on a 305, you can put a basic 350 in (you don't need much here to get the same output, and having a 350 in the car, will open you up to many options down the road).
