Not 3rd gen, but 350 TBI
Sorry, I can't find any decent sites like this one on GM trucks/SUV's except the new style ones...
Anyhow, my friend has a 1999 Tahoe with the 350 TBI. We were trying to remove a broken heater hose quick connect coupling from the intake manifold, and somehow or another we cracked the corner off of the manifold
The '99 style does not have the same manifold as the older trucks and TBI powered cars. It has a plastic plenum on top of the aluminum manifold. Anyone know where I could pick one of these up other than a dealer? I can find the older 1 piece design everywhere, but this style no where...
Thanks for any help!

You're probably not going to find a lot of help here unless it's a 95 and older setup. The 96+ vortec's are CPI or SCPI, not TBI. Unfortunately, I can't recall of any aftermarket intakes for it, although I am familiar with that heater line leak
gmpartsdirect.com or a junkyard will be your best bets.... didn't see anything for a small block on ebay, but I checked.

Dang.
I would check lcoal junk yards first. E-bay may turn up something, if not the piece, you might turn up someone that has one or can get one.
There is also an internet site that takes parts requests and queries the inventory of several junkyards and the junkyards respond to you if they can help you out. Not sure of the name of that site. Others may know.
If you have to buy from a dealer, I would at least check www.gmpartsdirect.com for pricecomparison.

$74.95
I have bought stuff from these people before and had good success with the purchases; when the wrong part was delivered they sent the new one along with a prepaid label for shipping the old one back. HTH.

Yeah I can find that plenum everywhere, just not the lower part that I need (the actual aluminum part that the plenum bolts to!)
Thanks anyhow.
