You can just re-use your stock self-aligning rocker arms. Not sure how the World heads are setup, but your choices are to run self-aligning (S/A) rocker arms or to run Non-S/A rocker arms with guide plates and hardened pushrods. Either way is fine, S/A is easier if you already have the r-arms.

Why would anyone use non S/A's over the S/A's? Is there a benifit to this or are some heads just not capable of running them?

Depends on how things are set up. If you have the narrow slot pushrod guides in the heads or guide plates, you run non-SA rockers. Some TBI heads have the narrow slots with the SA rockers. Potentially you could just run non-SA rockers if the cost was less for aftermarket stuff.

EDIT: I do remember seeing someone here run non-SA rockers with the 87+ narrow slot heads and have the pushrod wear into the head. Not sure on what the circumstances where...
