The almighty fuel pump

Ok guys well I know that after a few minor mods to these cars that the fuel pump starts to decide to be weak. I have never really seen a thread on putting better ones in.

What do you guys usually upgrade to when you get a new one for your small modded TBI? I just dont want to go into overkill you know.

The pump is one of the best you can get.

FPG001 - $83= Walbro 190
a.k.a. GCA701

N/A FPG002 - $93= Walbro 255

I am going to install a catback and a high flow cat. Then the open element filter is going on. Then I am doing the ultimate tbi mods.....thats all for just right now.

You will be fine with any walbro or stock GM TPI pump. Walbro pumps are cheaper and can be had for $97 to your door. Try a few searches for "fuel pump" or "Walbro fuel pump".
