Well I just got finished with this swap, It is a l98 with a cam, stock clean heads with mild port and 5 angle valve job. The problem is, Some times the car will start up like a champ, But some times it gets fludded i guess. When the car doesnt want to start on me,i have to take of the air cleaner unplug the injectors let the car start on till i dies and then, plug the injectors start over the car and it will run. Yesturday (Sat, mar 4) was the first day of me driving the car and hate this little problem. I was thinking it has something to do with the fuel pressure regulator. I made the stock one adjustable, but dont know were to adjust it at. If any one has anything that can be the cause of my problem, please let me know. Thanks Eric

I had to spend a good bit of time on my "choke afr" and "Coolant compensation enrichment" table with my cam. I say you need to replace your "chip" with some custom tuning done by you.

What he said. The cars seem to run rather rich at startup. I had the same problems. Theres also some stuff you can do on the spark side that may help as well. Theres an adder that controls how fast the SA is brought in. That really helped along with leaning out the fuel.

Well tuning is done recently by brian (tbichips). I tried everything that i can do in my hands playing with timing, and fuel pressure regulator. THe whole day today i played with the car. If i let the car sit for about 30 minutes and go back to the car it will start up purfectly. But if i leave the car ideling for a while, turn it of and right away try to turn it back on it will just get floded. The thing that bothers me the most is that it runs perfectly all threw out the power band. It also runs a little hot. The next step should be Learn and buy the equipment on how to tune her? Thanks alot on responding
