MSD Super Conductor Wires with Headers

I want to order some 8.5 mm MSD wires for my TBI with Heddman headers. I do not really feel like the mess of a universal set so I wanted to order some that were pre made. My main goal is to have some wires that will not burn from my headers. Which pre-made set would I buy, the tpi corvette set or the 85-95 305 or 350 truck? The reason I say truck is because they had TBI's in them. Also would these already come with all 90 degree boots? Thanks guys, your help is appriciated.

The pre-made sets are likely not going to come with 90* boots. If anything stock would come with them, it would likely be the Vette ones, as they had a funky header/manifold on them.

I really like the universal sets, that way I can route the wires in such a way, that they are out of the way, and cleanly routed. With pre-made sets, you can't really control the routing.

I always get the Summit Brand ones, they actualy said "Taylor" on the first set I got. .

Ok guys better yet, lead me to the universal MSD set in either black or red that I would want with all 90 degree boots. I would guess they should be HEI style. I will assemble them but there are like 2000 sets on summit and I need help knowing which one fits my application.

MSD part#

I have a pre-made set from MSD with 90 deg. boots on my 92 LO3 bird and I routed them under the headers (Edelbrock TES).

MSD Part no. should be 3138.

They come up as blue ford wires.

I had no problems with my Super Conductors, ordered the universal set w/ 90* boots. worked like a charm. wish i had payed more attention and ordered the red ones instead, haha.

I too run the universal 90° MSD's and I like them a lot. I just never routed mine as clean as you guys did. My only complaint is that some of them were a tuch long. Had I routed them under the headers some of that "universal" slack would go away.
