Measuring Fuel Pressure

OK, I've got a holley 670 tbi that I'm going to install and it has an adjustable fuel pressure regulator on it, does anyone know how to measure the pressure going to the injectors? I've got an inline gauge to tell me the pressure in the line before the tbi unit, but after installing a high flow fuel pump I want to make sure I can regulate the pressure so not to damage the 65lb injectors on the 670. Anyone know how?

Thanks.

Your regulator works as to set the pressure in the entire line between it and the pump. The injectors are in that line so the pressure you're seeing now at your gage is the injector pressure.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if that would be the case. I've got a Russell gauge in line which should be pretty accurate.

Just want to warn you that big throttle bodies and bigger injectors really throw off the tune. Take a look at the "come in for a free tune" thread to see how much tuning it takes for just a throttle body and free flowing exhuast. If you ask me (which you didn't) I wouldn't mess with the TB unless I was doing my own chips.

It's proven that Brian at TBI chips does nothing to the chip that would help with the big TB, so mail order ain't gonna help ya.

I'm actually in the process of understand the tuning aspect as well and getting ready to do my own chips. I'm also trying to decide on a wideband 02 so that I can do it right. Thanks for the info though.
