Performer RPM is the best hands down, but getting it to fit under a stock hood takes a bit of magic. I've only heard of one person doing it and it took some fanagling. Also might want to steer clear of the air gap intake, TBI has enough problems with the throttle blades icing with normal intakes. A search would net you a lot more info.

well the reason that im in the market for an intake now is because i now have a steel cowl hood so clearence isn't an issue...and im building an older 350 with older heads so i want to use an approp. intake

90FormulaWS6, are you happy with the Performer RPM intake? Are you running a 2" air cleaner. You've got a pretty impressive list of mods for a 305. What kind of times are you running?

yeah im more than happy with it, AE with 8746 has been a pain to tune, but im sure that once i get WB ill be doing well and even better with EBL... im running a 3" air cleaner

and as for times... i have no times yet... i havent had the chance to get out to the track... im hoping to get the rest of the car finished up with EBL, WBO2, rebuild the rear, vortec heads & intake... so right now i have no times with the current setup, but once i get time or these mods are taken care of i will
