Rocker Ratio?
i'm running a comp cam that has a duration of 212/218 @ .50 and the lift on it is .449/.456, w/ lsa of 112. im wondering would it be worth my while to throw on a set of 1.6 rocker arms? i have had this engine tuned for about a month now, and it passed smog. i would only want to do it if the power gains were decent. would this make it any more difficult to tune?, i live in cali so i have smog ****'s

it should come out to .485/.496.I think if you were able to tune it in the first place this won't be much more of a stretch.IMO i think it will be very benificial for you to put the rockers on.One ?. what heads are you running?Be sure your heads can take the lift of the cam before you install them though. The extra lift of the rockers could cause problems if your running stock unmodified heads.

Most stock heads won't take moren than .460 lift, also make sure you get long slot rockers, most 1.6's are long slot but I have seen some that aren't.
