Ready for new tb unit...

OK, i've done as everyone's recommended and finished the hedders and full exhaust setup. I've got an edelbrock tbi intake and I have a holley 502-6 waiting to be installed. I've also got into tuning and burned some chips. 8746 with 61 mask. I've done the rev limiter and code43 patches and now I want to start working on fueling. Oh, also I installed a walbro 255 (what a pita). Anyways, how well will the tb unit work(2" tb's) on the edelbrock intake with the stock 1-11/16tb's? I intend on having the intake bored out but I was waiting until I finish the 383 buildup. From what I've read, if I install the tb, kick up the fp a little and adjust the bpc's in the prom I should be back to proper drivability. From there I can fine tune the ve tables until fueling is set.

Am I doing the right thing here?

Thanks

WHAT SIZE holley fuel injectors? i think i read holley rates them based upon you using 20 lbs FP. so a 70 lb holley inj flows 70 lbs at 20 psi. a 80 lb GM flows 80 lb at 12 lbs. you will need to calc the fuel requirements and then set the FP accordingly. i would error on the high side.

From what I know the Holley uses 65lb injectors, and I believe it's at 21psi. What should I do first? Where should I be setting the FP and then which numbers do I use to calculate bpw?

Thanks.

you need to calc the fueling requirements for a 383. there is a formula somewhere on this site

or this may work...http://www.users.bigpond.net.au/ben_...ctorsizing.xls

also there is a calc for the BPW which is the CID/FP/inj size

again this may work...http://www.users.bigpond.net.au/ben_...ctorsizing.xls

a WB02 is invaluable. after my cam swap i went from 13 lbs with 80 lb injs up 2 lbs at a time and now at 22 lbs and just now dropped under 13.0/1(12.8/1) at WOT at 85 mph and pulling.

Got the LC-1, just have to hook it up. I thought I'd get everything running smooth first and move on from there.
