lt1 top end swap
i was told this is possible but i dont understand how it would wrk. if it is possible what all would i need off the lt1 motor???
theoretically everything thats not a shortblock part... im not sure of the gen II SBC coolant paths line up with those on the heads of the gen III... LT1's use reverse flow cooling so you would need the new water pump that flowed that way as well... all in all, its more trouble than its worth, im sure of it... for the price you would spend on the LT1 parts you could get a 350TPI setup easily built for 300+whp...

With the amount of other heads out there I would be reluctant to attempt this. It has been done a few minutes with the search function should uncover tons of info dedicated to the this topic.
