i just bought a 350 from my friend. it is a stock motor from a truck and has 10,000 miles on it. he put a holley street dominator intake and everything else is stock. will i run into any swapping [roblems between the 305 and the 350. my car will be tbi injected and has a stage 2 chip and afpr. will this supply a sufficient amount of fuel for the 350. also will the ecu throw any fits because the egr will be gone? also should everything work ok if anyone else has done this and had problems let me know so i can prepare myself for them.

 

well first off if you have a 91 z its not TBI its tpi.. but if this is for another car or you are swapping from tpi to tbi then its important you know what sort of cam you are gonna run. Secondly, stage 2 chip??? whats that mean?
as for egr, the car will run fine but might flash an occasional code 32 at light cruise above 55 mph (does not adversely affect engine function)

 

well hehehe i cannot wait till your done. i have problems with mine that seem simple but yet nobody ca diagnose. are you keeping the same injectors? (tbi) same chip? same knock sensor? as selfish as this sounds, please just transfer all your stuff from your old block to your new one and run with t and post your problems if you have any. it will help diagnose mine. goodluck
