Need help with Project "Sanford and Son"
I talked earlier with Pablo about this and got some good info.
Well, I just acquired an 84 Chevy Full size pickup and the body is an excellent shape. no rust if you can believe that.
But it has a 4.3 motor with a rod knock. Time to yanj that terd out and I have a 350 roller 4 bolt block sitting around.
Well, it will be a 355, 10.5.1 TRW forged pistons, and I was thinking of getting some Vortech heads and matching Edelbrock intake.
Is there an adapter to slap a TBi on it????? I want to get a 454 TBI for it. I also guess I will yank a harness out of a TBI truck and get a 350 ECM... I was thinking of a cam around 214 duration, cause i want to keep some low end for pulling....
What do you guys think of this combo... Pablo mentioned someone has done this already....??
