will my tbi system feed a hot 350 or 383 motor
how much horsepower will my stock electronics and fuel injectors etc support
also which crate type package lends itself best to my small block TBI 700r4 platform?

it's not really stock anymore. it has a k&n filter, a smaller diameter air cleaner lid that allows fairly free air flow, i took your advice and removed the hood's rear weather strip to let out hot air, i've installed the thermotech chip, replaced the cat with straight pipe, it has an eddlebrock muffler and the new motor would be treated to headers. what do you think of the cheap headmann painted pieces?
also, i have the filter and bottom half of the open element air cleaner which haven't been used. is the removal of the ring around the tbi (as described in ultimate TBI) worth the trade off from the K&N filter back to a paper one? The K&N filter is a stock replacement size and does not fit the mr gasket chrome open element set up.

Dude, that 350 won't be able to breathe! I am assuming u have a aftermarket intake like an Edelbrock Performer or somethin, so then u would need a tb spacer maybe just cause ur workin on that part, then a Holley 670cfm tb unit w/ whatever injector size they come with (bigger than ur stock ones) and then an K&N Open Element 14x3 and I would get an aftermarket hood for clearance. Like ASCD ram air hood or cowl induction. And that thermomaster isn't gonna cut it. It was made for your 305 tbi, not a 350. You need to get a custom made prom from like Howell or Fast Chip. Then an aftermarket fuel pump and that should be enough for that 350. But if u don't get this stuff it will perform really ****ty.

thanks for the input. I'm sorta putting together a build plan and I'm trying to decide if it would be more practical to use the EFI set up or if it would be easier/less expensive to convert to a carburated set up. I really don't know.
I think mine is putting out close to 250 sputtering unreliable horsepower.I have a performer rpm intake the projection spacer and an open air element. In other words if your thinking of doing what I did your going to need what they have suggested.
------------------
Chevy 355 cid chevy orange and lots of chrome
Vortec heads ported polished and milled also the exhaust ports are ported.
Edelbrock #7116 performer RPM intake also ported to match heads.
Keith black 12cc 9-6-1 compression flat top pistons.
Comp cams extreme energy #262 roller cam.
Pro jection 1 inch tbi adapter.
14 x 2 open air element (couldnt close hood)
Accel 8mm superstock wires.
