I have the same problem. If you look at the driver's side of the TB where the cable comes up, you'll see a hollow tube with a flared end on it. When the throttle is closed this flared end rest on something and I believe they kind of stick together.
My problem is most evident when I slam the throttle closed, if I let off it very gently they problem is barely evident.
I'm so used to driving with the throttle sticking that I've never messed with that part. Take a look and see if you know what I'm talking about, and if you fix it, let me know what you did.

have you messed with the idle adjustment? that sounds alot like someone backed out the idle screw to compensate for a high idle and the only thing stopping the throttle are the blades jamming up against the TB bore
