Anyone have anything to say in defence of the Edelbrock TBI intake?
There seems to be mostly bad hype around this thing. Anyone actually have one and like it?

I have this intake on my car and i can tell you the performance gain is pretty minimal. Unless your going to do alot of work on the exhaust/intake, and do head/cam change, you won't see that much benifit. I'm glad I got it done since I have significantly improved air/fuel flow on my car, but as a stand alone there is little benifit.

I noticed a decent improvement with my Performer TBI intake,but I also have the earlier version with the removeable torque tubes. I've heard a lot of complaints about the later model with just the 1 11/16 bores.

I too have this intake manifold. I will give you my 1/4mile times before and after I put the intake on and let you see if you think it is worth it or not.
Before 15.91@ 90.1mph
After 15.72@ 93.2mph
