Does anybody know the part number for a K&N

Thats the part number for the entire open air element kit.
My friend has an edelbrock 14x3 setup and we are trying to cross reference the edelbrock fiter
#1217 with a K&N counterpart. model #1650 is what the catalog says will fit but its too big. (Unless there was a wrong sized filter in the box to begin with) Any suggestions?
