It can be done. The air cleaner itself fits just fine, as long as you remove all the AIR stuff. I am still in the process of getting the hoses and scoops set up. If you get a collant reservoir from the early (82-88?) third gens you will have more room. Maybe in a paycheck or two I will order the hoses from Modern Day Muscle.

Thank you. Id really like a dual snorkel on my LO3.
I saw a pic of one with dual snokel somewehre but dont remember were and if he had air.
Interesting the early coolant reservoir. But I cannot go without air.
How mutch would you need to raise the air cleaner to get over it? or is not anoff hoodclearence?

I have no experience with TBI, so I may be off-base. The L69 cars that the dual snorkels came on were equipped with both AC and emissions, so that shouldn't be a problem (as far as I know). Also, wouldn't the coolant reservoir be exactly the same, 82-92? Check the pics/info out in the following link:

There's not really a clearance issue. Again check the link to see what members with LG4's (including me) did.

Should anyone be interested, I have a dual snorkel for sale. Search my name in the classifieds for info/pics.

Yes they did, but the a/c compressor was on the other side compared to serpentine cars, and the alternator that was in that location is positioned slightly differently. Also, from what I have seen the early cars did have a different reservoir. In that thread you listed azvolfan has a serpentine car and you can see he must have relocated his coolant reservoir to allow room for the hose. In those cars the a/c compressor and the reservoir almost touch.

As far as the AIR is concerned, I removed mine at the same time I added the air cleaner, so I cannot be 100% sure they won't fit, but I remember test fitting it and coming to that conclusion.
