cold-air-induction for TBI Formulas
Thought you might like to see this: my fully functional cold-air induction system. I made it in about an hour, for about $30. It mates up to the hood scoop and draws nearly all inducted air from the scoop. With this induction system, coupled to the stock Quadrajet, ported heads, intake, cam, torque converter, and headers, my 305 cruised to nearly a 13 second quarter mile. That's 1.5 seconds and 13 MPH faster than one year ago.

slick move man. I think that K&N filter top would really be sweet on ur set up. U know what im talking about, that lid with the filter in it. It would be prefect. did u notice an increase with just this mod alone?

Not bad, looks good Dan.
I made a pan similar to that when I made a friends cowl hood functional for his 2ndgen. Here's what I used, all parts from Home Depot.
$10 Aluminum sheet
$4 some sort of clear calking glue
$5-10 3" thick weather stripping foam
$? self tapping screws
Fair warning, make sure your throttle cable is not hitting the pan (aluminum sheet) or it will stick and your bound to hit someone or something.
