Cam question for 350 TBI
I previoustly put this in another forum but figured I will put it in here as well seeing as this is a TBI forum and you guys will be more familiar with this mod. I am looking to put a cam in my car, what cam would wake my car up? What do you prefer in cams?
what are the specs on the cam you have in there? What kind of 350 did you put in? Is it a roller motor, or flat tappet?
If you had a stock LO3 (or even a LO5) i would say go with a LT1 cam. But we need to know what you got currently to give you some advice...

I honestly have no clue, all I know is that it's a Jasper crate engine. I have no clue what the rebuilded it with. I imagine the stock cam.

if your car originally came with a 305 and your car has all of the mods listed then i would serouisly consider checking for the correct injectors for a 350, and verifying correct fuel pressure under load, and definately some diy chip tuning. spend some time in the diy prom section. you are at the point where tuning on a "stock" engine would be benificial to you so you can see the trends when you change cams and heads or even go with a stroker/nitrous/supercharged/turbos. lots of knowledge over there
