Question About Bigger Throttle Bore
Question About Bigger Throttle Bore
What intake are you supose to run with a holley tbi or one from turbo city? They have a 2 inch bore and the stock and edelbrock tbi has a 1 11/16 bore, Yet holley says it works with oem equipment

Holley gives you a gasket that tapers down from 2" to 1.68". I think it would be kinda silly to use this gasket with their 2" throttle body on the stock intake. You can use the Edelbrock intake and bore the holes out to 2", or you can use an aftermarket 4bbl. carbeurator intake and an adaptor. I've got a Torker II and Holley's adaptor on my car.

did you have any hood clearance problems with the adapter and everything else?

No, I don't have any clearance problems but it's damn close. It just barely clears the hood.
