possible new fuel pressure guage location

After taking apart a regulator in my spare time the other day, I came up with a possible idea for a new Schrader Valve mounted directly to the throttle body. If you look closely, I feel that GM may have even had this in mind the way it is shaped.
I was planning on using a drill bit and then tapping to a standard mfi schrader valve. Any one have opinion on this or will this location even work?

Bad news, that is the RETURN side of the regulator.
