How do you know when you need to replace TBI fuel injectors?
They look pretty nasty with a layer of varnish on them, where the car sucked oil into the breather when the PVC valve stuck one time.
10 years?
200,000 miles? The RS has 214,xxx miles on it.
Car runs same as it did when it had 50,000 miles on it.

There is no -set- time where you would need to change them. If they are spraying correctly they are doing thier job. Most of these cars get the dark nasty looking varnish on the outside of the injector pod. Nothing to worry about. But, if you looking for an excuse to get rid of them and do some modding, then they are definitly bad (lol) and you should replace them at once.

LOl, the of course they are bad!
I'll wait until I know exactly what I want to do long term with the car then before I replace them.
