well, crushed a lifter

just like the topic.... man. i just got the new tranny in 2 weeks ago and then this happens. oh well, good will come out of it. because i have to take the intake off, i plan on getting an edelbrock proformer plus cam, and a pair of S/R torqer heads. that should bring my car to 300hp. (according to Dyno 2000)

well my car will be off the road for at least 2 weeks. all you have to do is help me though this. because i almost died when the tranny was dead for 3 weeks.

well i guess thats good too, i mean to replace a pushrod isnt the hardest thing in the world. Get a set from comp cams, they are good. Hey alteast u dont have to go very long w out ur car, that can really be a bitch. BTW how did u manage to break a push rod??

well, i got new ones in today. i got some proform hardened ones. it took me and my dad about 2 hours.

the reason i broke 1(and bent 4 others) was because i had stock push rods with 1.6 roller rockers. thats not good, but when i put the 1.6 rockers in 9 months ago i didnt know. now i do and it runs better then ever.
