TBI vs. V6
My G/f has a 96 v6 camaro w/ a flowmaster and she is always talkin crap about how she thinks her car is faster than mine... and i always say lets line em up.. well she never wants to but if the day does come, i just want to make sure im gonna win
My mods include 14x3 OE Filter, Street & strip shift kit, hypertech chip, full flowmaster exhaust with a hi flo catco cat.
My next mod will be 3.42 or 3.73 gear which I know will make me smoke her.. but for the mean time.

dont even worry about it man, u will walk that car so bad. If u have an auto and shes got the 5 spd it might be close for a minute but i think ud take her no problem. I am assumeing she has a 3.4 which has 160 hp and 220 ft/l;bs of torque. U have 170 hp and 255 ft/lbs of torque. nuff said right there

I think in 96 the base model engine is the 3.8.
if it is a stick and if she know how to drive it could be close
but I would bet she dont ....
after U beat her do some simple mods to it and U can embarras a couple of v8's with it
I bet she would probaly pay U to change her muffler bearings

it could be close. the '96s have the 200hp 3.8 which runs 15s. Califonia v6s got the 3.8 half way through '95.
