Clutches
Clutches
Hi everyone!
I haven't posted in a while. Lot of work at school, but it's a lot better now. I can concentrate on my car now. I wanna get nice clutch with LOADS of holding power but my car is a daily driver. I was thinking about the Centerforce Dual Friction, but I want to hear from u guys too. Any other TBIers out there with a 5 speed?
Thanks!
Ethan

there is a transmission and drivetrain board.
also a aftermarket product review board.
this board is for tbi tech. a clutch for a tbi car is not tbi tech.
just a reminder. guess ill be nice this time since ive already moved a few posts today.

Than in that case, i've done a lot of research on this and Everyone seems to agree that McLeod is the best clutch. But i checked up on it and it is very pricy. So i'll be getting the centerforce dual friction pretty soon. I've heard a lot of good things about it, but then again there were some people that say they're not really all that they make it seem to be. I think it would be a way good enough application for a 305 tbi.

i have a 5 spd
i replaced my clutch with just the OEM. I guess i should have went with a better clutch but the OEM grips really good and i didnt feel like spending half a grand on a clutch. Especially for a motor that will remain mostly stock.
