no heat - help quick
I put this in tech but they suck and the guys in here are smart so help me out. The other day I turned my A/C on for the first time all winter because it was hot out. Ever since then, i have NO heat, i put it back onto heat and it blows cold air.. coolant level is good, but im not very mechanically inclined so I dont know what would cause that to happen... up until the otherday my heat worked great.

Go down on the passenger side and feel the carpet under the dash. If it feels wet there then your heater core has gone bad. Also, if it smells kinda funny when you turn your heat on then that is another sign of your heater core going bad. Run your heater for like 15 minutes and check those things first.

sounds like a cable problem, how old is your car, you might need to just take the heater core apart and clean it out. pita yes but heater cores are expensive and usually cleanable instead of replacing. check your blower motor, they always go out when its really cold. most likely, unless its you contol head cable broken or something, these are just coincidence. sounds like you got some componant checking to do.
good luck
