New Plans
I feel that it is time to get serious with my TBI setup. How about 500 FWHP and 13s while still achieving 18 MPG highway with the cruise set at 70-75 MPH? I think it can be done.
My plans for this spring/summer. Let me know what you think guys.
Heavily Ported 906 Vortecs
GMPP TBI-Vortec intake bored to 2"
Whipple TBI supercharger kit (I know they are out of production)
(base plate and rear supercharger plate openings opened up to 2")
Hydraulic Roller "Blower" cam
Richmond 3.73s (again)
BUILT 4L60E
I am shooting for 7-8 psi of boost and 8.5:1 compression ratio.
NA an engine of the specs I am looking at would do about 350 HP. At 7 PSI, I should see nearly 50% more power. That is around 525 HP, now take away some power to turn the supercharger and make the number realistic. I am somewhere between 450-500 HP.

is this for your van?
don't you have a bit of a traction problem already?
the words insane & outrageous come to mind.
if, or rather when you get there, i think you'll make more than one LS1 ask "WTF was it that just passed me?"

I do have a traction problem out of the hole, more so with the old weiand.
lol
Maybe when it is all said and done, I will toss a pair of slicks on it and see what it will really do. I want to do better than a 2.08s 60' time. My 305 made it to the 60' quicker than the 350 ever has.

that thing will be 1 wild ride
2.08, your already quicker to 60' than i am, 2.2 is my best so far with a open 2.42 on street tires.

holy skyscraper batman..
hey fast, a position on the A-team just opened up, you should check it out
something about a van that can 1) punch a hole through the chrysler building and 2) blow 50% of our forum away in the 1/4 just disturbs me.

Sounds great! I believe you are really changing the TBI world by proving everything that has said to been impossible for tbi, is really actually possible. Well I will be along for the ride, awaiting the results on here. Good Luck!
